Is doing online ba in psychology worth? Does it cause any problem in getting intership in future

According to NCAHP’s latest notice on 5th March 2025, online psychology courses are not valid. So, doing an online BA in Psychology will waste your time and money.

As per the latest notice dated 5th March 2025 by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions, NCAHP, addressed to UGC, the psychology courses in online mode are not valid. This makes an online BA in psychology an invalid course, which would be a waste of time and money for you!

In most cases online BA in Psychology is worth it as it presents a wide range of career opportunities in such areas as mental health, human resources, market research, teaching, social work, and so on. Most employers and institutions do not distinguish the difference between online degrees and the normal degrees as long as the university is legit; transcripts and diplomas do not indicate any distinction as online.

It is not a usual crisis to go and do an online degree and then be left with no chance of getting an internship, so long as the course studied is in a recognized university, and one can get the skills and knowledge it teaches. But then again, attaining internships might be dependent on the grades, skills and relevant experience you have, as well as the mode of study.
