• Must hold Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 55% aggregate marks or CGPA of 5.5/10 in the qualifying examination; the minimum for SC/ST and Persons with Disability (40% disability) will be 50% or CGPA 5.0.
• Selection will be based on the written test and interview; Those students with valid national-level tests will be exempt from the written test.
• If eligibility is established, both full-time and part-time must be made available.

• The students with valid qualifications shall be exempt from the written test and can proceed directly to an interview.

The examination pattern of Anna University is simple and the most commonly opted examination pattern by online universities. The examination pattern of the university comprised two major components namely: internal assessment and end-term examination.

The internal assessments are conducted by the university to evaluate the learning of an individual according to the latest curriculum and it carries 20-30% of the total weightage that also includes the assignment, which is given to every student at the beginning of every semester. The end-term examinations are conducted to evaluate an individual's overall theoretical understanding during a semester and these examinations carry 70-80% of weightage.
