The M.Com degree provided at Annamalai University is a postgraduate level of study. This two year masters program syllabus is divided into four semesters. The course follows a semester-wise system with a flexible format that helps learners to upgrade their knowledge without quitting work. However, the M.Com degree is not offered in a fully online mode, but students can pursue it in distance learning mode. 

The papers covered in the program are Financial Management, Managerial Economics, Business Statistics, Organisational Behaviour, Accounting, as well as MIS, Insurance and Risk Management. Also, projects, electives, internships, along with field study is part of the program which provides learners with theoretical and practical knowledge. 

The Centre for Distance & Online Education of the university is the one providing the program. Students are given ample support and guidance with online resources and self learning. Also, the exams are conducted in centres with learners being evaluated through assignments, internal assessments and exams. This way, individuals who do the course acquire knowledge and practice of commerce subjects, which prepares for careers in Financial Analyst, Accountant, Tax Consultant, etc.
