The Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran undergraduate engineering course is the B.Tech Lateral Entry (LEET) program that is offered to students with a diploma holder and other applicants who want to enhance their technical education and career opportunities. The scheme will enable students to proceed to the second year (3 rd semester) of the degree and proceed with the degree based on the diploma background that they are presently doing, together with enhanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the respective engineering field. CGC Landran, with its state-of-the-art infrastructure and industry-oriented curriculum, offers the best place where students can be able to transfer their technical skills into professional skills.
CGC has eleven B.Tech entry-level courses like Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Data Science, Internet of Things and Cyber Security including Blockchain, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Who Can Apply?
In order to be eligible for the B.Tech Lateral Entry (LEET) program in CGC Landran:
- You are required to have successfully taken 3-year/2-year Lateral Entry Diploma examination with at least 45% (40% in case of reserved category) marks in any of the branches of Engineering and Technology.
- You have to have completed a B.Sc. Degree in a recognized university as defined by UGC with 45% (40% in case of reserved category) marks and passed 10 + 2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
- You have to have achieved B.Voc. /3 years D.Voc. Stream in the same or related field.

CGC Landran B.Tech Lateral Entry Examination Pattern
CGC Landran uses a semester-based examination system in accordance with and as per the Punjab Technical University (PTU) provisions of on-campus and online studies. The academic year will be split into two semesters, with an overall structure of assessment that will include ongoing internal assessment and end-of-semester assessment. On-campus programs involve classroom and practical/laboratory test attendance. E-tests are administered in secure AI-proctored testing or in the respective examination centres. The academic integrity and consistency of grading and evaluation standards are in accordance with the PTU and UGC-DEB regulations.
