European Institute of Management and Technology (EIMT) provides a highly prestigious Honorary DBA/PhD. This program is designed for individuals who have made exceptional contributions in their field or society. It is awarded to recognize their achievements in business, education, innovation, leadership, or social welfare. EMIT Honorary DBA is a formal acknowledgement of the remarkable contributions and achievements of a person. Candidates getting this acknowledgement can prefix their names with the “Dr” title. 

EIMT Honorary DBA is very different from the other doctoral degrees. Unlike the conventional PhD programs, which include extensive research work, this Honorary Doctoral program is awarded based on the phenomenal contributions in industry, society, or a specific field of expertise. This program does not require any coursework, original research, dissertation/thesis, or viva. Rather, this award is provided for the previous achievements of the individual. 

EIMT offers the facility of self-nomination, where candidates can nominate themselves for this honor. Candidates are selected through an interview with a university panel. EMIT conducts the interview online, which generally lasts for 1 to 1.5 hours.

EMIT Honorary DBA/PhD is offered through a highly accelerated process. Generally, it is a 1-day process to get this acknowledgement. The degree is awarded as soon as the candidate is selected. Initially, the E-degree is sent, and within 60 to 90 days physical degree is sent to the address of the candidates. This program also does not have a fee structure like other doctoral programs. Instead, candidates are required to make a meaningful contribution of up to INR 6,50,000 to encourage advanced research and innovation. This is the maximum amount one can contribute. An Honorary DBA from EIMT enhances the visibility of a candidate in society and industry.
