Indira Gandhi National Open University was founded in 1985. IGNOU offers online learning (OL) and open distance learning (ODL) programs to serve the students by quenching their thirst for knowledge in various fields. IGNOU does not offer an online BBA in computer science, which is one of the specializations that attracts students. In this program, they may study the various aspects of computers and the languages that are necessary to learn about computers.

Retail management and service management are the only specializations in which IGNOU offers online BBA programs. The university has been recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Students enrolled in these online BBA programs have the flexibility to study whenever it suits them best. The university is in the first position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2024. As compared to traditional degrees provided at various colleges, online programs are more reasonably priced.

Indira Gandhi National Open University was approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Through their curriculum of various subjects, students can enhance their skills like time management, critical thinking, analytical skills, digital skills, problem-solving, effective communication skills, etc. IGNOU was accredited by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council as an “A++ grade” university. In the BBA program in Computer Science, they may study the various aspects of computers and the languages that are necessary to learn about computers.
