LLM is a master’s program that allows students to enhance their law knowledge in the specific domain chosen by the students.    LLM can be pursued as a 1-year LLM program or as a regular 2-year program. Both programs are offered by the universities in India. INGOU does not offer LLM full courses but offers PG diplomas and certificates like Diploma in Paralegal Practice (DIPP), Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law (PGCCL), Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR), Certificate in Human Rights (CHR), Post-Graduate Certificate in Patent Practice (PGCPP), Post-Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice (PGDCJ), and more. In 1985, IGNOU was established, and since then, they have been offering their services to the students by offering them Online Learning programs (OL) and Open & Distance Learning programs (ODL). IGNOU was awarded an “A++ grade university” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). IGNOU has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). However, the university doesn’t get approval from the Bar Council of India to offer LLM courses but offers diploma law programs.
