About IGNOU Online PG Diploma in Application Development
This one-year PG online diploma course offers an opportunity for students to acquire skills that promote a successful career in application development. It will help prepare graduates for life in an extremely fast-paced technical world with theory and practice. The course delves into the foundations of web development such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as work with two popular JavaScript frameworks, React and Angular, for producing dynamic websites. At the back end, the students will be introduced to database management using an interface such as MySQL by programming in languages such as PHP and Python.

The curriculum emphasizes ensuring that the students are developing their skills as they work on real projects and cases in practice. They will also gain knowledge about some important things, such as user experience (UX) design concepts, responsive web design approaches, and mobile-based application development. Students will also learn about the latest industry trends, such as progressive web applications (PWAs), cloud computing, and web security. By the end of this course, graduates will know how to design, develop, and deploy web and mobile applications.
However, IGNOU doesn't provide this specialization, but many other universities offer this specialization in online mode. Specializations at IGNOUs are well-recognized and accredited. The PG diploma course at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is A++-graded by NAAC, which denotes high standards in quality. This makes IGNOU the first open university to get this accreditation. - You must have a college degree or an equivalent qualification that includes 10 years of school, 2 years of higher secondary (high school), and 3 years of college.
- You must have studied mathematics during your higher secondary education at a recognized school or board. However, if you have a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science or Statistics, you do not need to have studied Mathematics.
