The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) offers a full time residential PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) program. The IIM PhD program is a research based doctorate degree program designed to help students acquire an in depth knowledge and understanding of research aspects to match the global education standards.
The IIM Kozhikode PhD program is a 5 year doctoral level regular program that requires students to attend on campus classes. The PhD at IIM Kozhikode is known as the Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM). The main objective of the program is to give students world class and interdisciplinary training to students in the business management domain.
The fee structure of IIM Kozhikode PhD is according to the global standards as well but to offer financial assistance to students, the IIM Kozhikode offers financial support. The financial support includes fellowship grants i.e. INR 42,000 for the initial 2 years and INR 45,000 after completing the comprehensive examination, and once the candidate successfully presentation and defense of the Thesis proposal the stipend awarded will be INR 50,000 per month.
The IIM Kozhikode PhD is a regular program but students from the working class can enroll in an Online DBA (Doctorate in Business Administration) program that is equally credible as a regular PhD and an ideal program for working professionals. The online DBA program is completely online and does not require any physical contact classes.
