IIM Kozhikode PhD in Management

The eligibility criteria to apply for the doctoral program at IIM Kozhikode are- 

• Individuals must have a master's degree in any specialization and an aggregate of 55%. 
• Candidates having a professional qualification, such as CA/ ICWA/ CS, along with a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% in their bachelor's degree. 
• Individuals with a 4-year bachelor's degree with an aggregate of 75% are also eligible to apply. 
• The applicants must have valid test scores that are not more than 3 years old. Entrance exams like GMAT/ GRE/ CAT/ UGC-NET/ IIMB test scores are also required to take admission in the institute.

The syllabus of the DPM offered by the IIM Kozhikode is research-oriented. The program has two phases: coursework and thesis research. The program includes both lecture methods as well as experiential learning methods such as case discussions, role plays, simulations, group discussions, and projects. On completion of the first phase of the curriculum, the individuals also have to qualify for the Area Comprehensive Qualifying Examination (CQE) to proceed to the second phase of the program.
