IIM Lucknow PhD in Management

The eligibility criteria for the fellow program in management are: 

• Those having a master’s degree in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of 55%. 
• Individuals having a 4-year bachelor’s degree with 65% marks. 
• Any professional qualifications, such as CA, ICWA, and CS, with a minimum 55% aggregate marks and a B.Com. as an  undergraduate degree
• Applicants who already hold a two/three-year full-time classroom-based PGDM from any of the IIMs with a minimum of 60%.  
• All applicants must have a minimum of 55% marks in all their public exams 10th onwards.

The institute offers various scholarships to the students for the successful collection of their degree programs to the students enrolled in postgraduation courses or doctoral courses. They also give stipends to the students that facilitate smooth course accomplishment. Students can also get a sponsor to pursue further courses. Many state government and center government offers meritorious scholarships to the students. 

In the first year of the doctoral program, the individuals are required to take a mandatory coursework irrespective of their area of specialization. At the end of their one year of coursework, the scholars have to undergo a summer placement/summer research assignment under the guidance of a theory Academic Advisor. The coursework is designed it provide teaching and research skills and to develop integrated learning. 

In the second year of the program, the scholars acquire in-depth knowledge of their domain, where they have to choose a dissertation topic to work on, which will lead them to formulate their thesis proposal. 

On the completion of the second year dissertation work, the scholars have to take the comprehensive examination. The examination is conducted to determine whether the scholar has obtained domain knowledge. 

IIM Lucknow does not provide the syllabus of the Fellow Program in Management. However, here is the syllabus of the IIM PhD in management- 

The Examinations are done in online mode for all the students enrolled in the online program. The Students have to log in to the portal with their user ID and password. The institute offers online self-paced study material. This material is suitable to study as it covers topics from basic to advanced. You can appear for the examination only if you have good internet connectivity along with a webcam and microphone. Practice mocks and other online sample papers for better practice and revision. 

The Fellow Program in Management offered by the IIM Lucknow provides in-depth knowledge of its area of specialization. The coursework provided in their first year of the program helps the individuals develop skills like teaching or research. The doctoral students also learn to develop a thesis and a dissertation over a duration of 4 and a half years. Such individuals can build their career as a professor, researcher, data analyst, manager, or consultant upon completing the program.

Furthermore, individuals can earn their doctoral degrees through an online DBA program in three years. The Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) is characterized by flexible class timings along with in-depth domain knowledge.
