IIM Nagpur Executive PhD Program

• Candidates must have a good academic background from a recognized university with one of the following qualifications:
• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks. 
•  Professional Qualification including CA, ICWA, or CS, with at least 50% marks, with a Bachelor's Degree with at least 55% marks.
•  Five-year Bachelor's Degree programmes, such as MBBS and B.Arch, with at least 55% marks. 
• Candidates should have at least 10 years of full-time professional, managerial, or entrepreneurial experience after their qualifying degree.
• The learners should have relevant and substantial work experience, which displays evidence of practical exposure and expertise.
•  Applicants must currently be employed in full-time work because the Executive PhD program is meant for working professionals who would like to conduct research toward a terminal degree while also performing their regular employment.
• Some students may have to clear personal interviews and other criteria, such as work experience and academic qualifications.  
• The program aims to attract candidates interested in research and to engage with the development of management knowledge, while also pursuing their professional development.

• IIM Nagpur Merit Scholarship – for the top ten scorer candidates securing 95%ile or above in CAT

For blended MBA and other courses, students who are unable to pursue further studies due to financial constraints can opt for the education loan facility at any of the banks. The point to be noted here is that IIM Nagpur has no role to play in the process of availing this education loan facility. It is entirely dependent on your financial history and the bank.

The examination evaluation process of the Institute follows a basic pattern that includes two major components: internal assessment and term-end examinations. The internal assessment evaluates the practical understanding of an individual through quizzes, assignments, projects, etc., Whereas end-term examinations are conducted to evaluate the overall theoretical understanding of an individual and they carry 30% and 70% of overall weightage respectively.

While the Executive PhD in Management was developed to provide candidates with the competencies and experiences to work within the academic as well as the corporate world, it does not limit itself to one of those professions; rather, many graduates of the Executive PhD program have chosen to pursue various forms of employment, including consultant/adviser positions to both corporations and governments, business owners, and elected officials.
