About IIM Rohtak PhD
Established in the year 2009, by the Ministry of Education under the Government of India Act, 2017. IIM Rohtak offers top management education in India as the institute has acclaimed faculty members, extensive infrastructure, and robust teaching pedagogy. As per the Ministry of Education, the IIM Rohtak is considered an institute of National Importance. IIM Rohtal offers offline on-campus programs as well as online programs.
The university provides financial assistance for some PhD programs to promote quality research. Individuals enrolled in the management program receive a monthly fellowship of INR 45,000 to INR 50,000, depending on the year the student is in.
IIM Rohtak offers various specializations in phd management, including Economics & Public Policy, Finance & Accounting, Management Information Systems, Marketing & Strategic Management, Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques, and Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources Management.
Furthermore, individuals can earn their doctoral degree through the online DBA program. The Doctor of Business Administration (Online DBA) is a three-year program that is considered equivalent to the PhD. Who Can Apply?
The eligibility criteria of the PhD program at IIM Rohtak are-
- Those who have completed their graduation in any specialization and have an aggregate of 55%.
- Individuals having a Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks and Qualifications of CA, ICWA, or CS
- Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks and a Qualifications of LLB degree
- MBBS degree holders with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA can also apply for the PhD program
- A 4 years/8-semester Bachelor’s degree, with at least 6.0 CGPA or equivalent marks
- Five years Integrated Master’s Degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55% marks
- The applicant must also qualify for examinations, including GRE, CAT, GMAT, GATE, and UGC-NET.
- Individuals having their master's degree also need to appear for the Research Ability Test (RAT), followed by the personal interview.

IIM Rohtak EMI Details

IIM Rohtak PhD Admission Process
The process of admission to IIM Rohtak for degree programs is based on the CAT & MAT scores of aspiring candidates. For the 2023-2025 batch of MBA, the CAT cutoff is 95% for general students.
However, for short-term certificate programs and MDPs, the admission process can be completed by following the below-mentioned points.
Step 1 - Visit the University website and select the program from a dropped-down list of programs.
Step 2 - Click on “Apply Now” and then fill in the required details in the registration form on the redirected webpage.
Step 3 - After successful registration, you will have your personalized credentials to log in to the admission portal.
Step 4 - As the first step, fill in some basic info on the declaration page then move on to the Payment section.
Step 5 - After this fill out the mandatory fields in the Applicant Details and Address Details.
Step 6 - Review your application and submit it for final enrollment.
Step 7 - For some of the executive or postgraduate courses, the university conducts entrance exams and personal interviews (PIs) and candidates can only get enrolled in these courses after qualifying for these exams and PIs.
