About IIM Rohtak PhD in Management
The Indian Institute of Management -IIM Rohtak was established by the Ministry of Education under the Government of India Act, 2017. The IIM is considered an institute of National importance as per the Ministry of Education. It is known to offer top management education in India. The institute has acclaimed faculty members, extensive infrastructure, and robust teaching pedagogy. The IIM Rohtak offers world-class education not only for regular programs but also offers various long and short duration programs.
The candidates pursuing the Doctoral Programme in Management receive a monthly fellowship stipend of INR 45,000 per month for the first and second year. And a stipend of INR 50,000 per month for the third and fourth year. To promote high-quality research, the institute offers financial assistance along with a full waiver of tuition fees for the first and second years of the program.
There are various specializations offered in the doctoral programme in Management (DPM). The institute offers a full-time residential program for a duration of four years. Moreover, the individuals must meet all the eligibility criteria to take admission in the IIM, including qualifying for the entrance exams like UGC NET OR GMAT.
Furthermore, you can opt for the online DBA program. The online DBA stands for the Doctor of Business Administration, which is equivalent to the regular PhD degree. The online DBA program offers flexible class timings where individuals can take their classes at their convenience and pace. In online DBA, you will earn the degree and the ‘Dr’ title within three years without relocating anywhere else.

Who Can Apply?
To apply to the PhD program in IIM Rohtak, the applicant must fulfill any one of the following eligibility criteria-
- The individual must have a post-graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Those having a Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks and Qualifications of CA, ICWA, or CS
- Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks and a Qualifications of LLB degree
- MBBS degree holders with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA can also apply for the PhD program
- 4 years/ 8 Semesters Bachelor’s degree, with at least 6.0 CGPA or equivalent marks
- Five years Integrated Master’s Degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55% marks
- The applicant must also qualify for examinations, including GRE, CAT, GMAT, GATE, and UGC-NET.
- The individuals who have a master's degree with a thesis can directly apply for the program by appearing for the Research Ability Test (RAT), followed by the personal interview.

IIM Rohtak PhD in Management Admission Process
The process of admission to IIM Rohtak for degree programs is based on the CAT & MAT scores of aspiring candidates. For the 2023-2025 batch of MBA, the CAT cutoff is 95% for general students.
However, for short-term certificate programs and MDPs, the admission process can be completed by following the below-mentioned points.
Step 1 - Visit the University website and select the program from a dropped-down list of programs.
Step 2 - Click on “Apply Now” and then fill in the required details in the registration form on the redirected webpage.
Step 3 - After successful registration, you will have your personalized credentials to log in to the admission portal.
Step 4 - As the first step, fill in some basic info on the declaration page then move on to the Payment section.
Step 5 - After this fill out the mandatory fields in the Applicant Details and Address Details.
Step 6 - Review your application and submit it for final enrollment.
Step 7 - For some of the executive or postgraduate courses, the university conducts entrance exams and personal interviews (PIs) and candidates can only get enrolled in these courses after qualifying for these exams and PIs.
