Academic Qualifications
- They must have a master's degree with an aggregate of 55% or its equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed.
- Those who have a five-year integrated master’s degree and any specialisation with an aggregate of 55% or equivalent are also eligible to apply.
- A professional qualification (completed), such as CA(ICAI)/CMA/CS, with a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks.
- Individuals having a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 65% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale
- The individuals are required to qualify for GMAT/GMAT (focus) or GRE, or CAT entrance examinations.
- If they haven’t qualified for any entrance examination have to appear for the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) entrance examination.

IIM Udaipur’s Executive PhD Program is crafted for accomplished professionals with strong academic backgrounds who aspire to emerge as distinguished thought leaders in their domains. Graduates of the program will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for a fulfilling career in management research and will be empowered to conduct independent, impactful, and practice-oriented studies.
In the Executive PhD program, individuals can choose a specialisation from the four areas-

The features of the curriculum of the Executive PhD program are-
- Semester 1 will be conducted via online interactive learning mode.
- The Semesters 1, 2, and 4 will be conducted on campus at IIM Udaipur via 2-week-long residencies each.
- Semester 3 will include a back-to-back 9-day in-person immersion at Fox School of Business campus in Philadelphia, USA, followed by a 1-week on-campus residency at IIM Udaipur.
- In the third year, the individuals will solely focus on their thesis work under the supervision of the thesis advisory committee (TAC).
- The individuals are expected to complete their dissertations at the end of the third year.
- Under special provisions, the individuals can extend their duration of completing the program to 1 year.

The examination is done through the online portal that is primarily formed to conduct the online examination smoothly of the students enrolled in the online learning program at the institute. You have to keep your credentials safe. On the day of the examination, the students have to log in at the portal and have to ensure the proper internet connectivity and a system connected with a functional webcam and a microphone.
