IIM Udaipur PhD in Management

• The eligibility criteria for the PhD in Management offered at IIM Udaipur are- 

• Individuals must hold a master's degree, with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
• Those having a five-year integrated master's degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% in aggregate. 
• A professional qualification, such as CA (ICAI), ICWA, CS, with a Bachelor’s degree, must have at least 60% of aggregate marks.

Applied Research Projects

During their first year, students start conducting applied research to supplement their classroom learning. The First Year Research Project (FYRP), under faculty supervision, allows students to apply their knowledge from foundational coursework. The Second Year Research Project (SYRP) in their second year builds upon this experience and allows students to incorporate learning from across courses, and serves as the applied aspect of the comprehensive examination in the third year.

Teaching Assistance (TA) 

Starting in the third year, students will perform Teaching Assistantship (TA) duties, providing support for faculty in MBA courses. Students will complete and record 12 credits (90 hours) of TA work over three years in the program. This experience gives PhD students invaluable skills in teaching and develops their teaching capability and experience when pursuing academic roles.
