IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kharagpur is inaugurated to meet India’s growing needs for Science and Technology to meet the requirement of trained manpower with the right skills. The institute offers a 2-year M.Tech program. Moreover, IIT Kharagpur allows candidates to fill out the application form for the Joint Master where after completing the 1 year of M.Tech, applicants can apply for the Ph.D program if they score CGPA 8.0 or above. However, students have to appear for interviews and written tests to find suitability for the Ph.D program.
