Who Can Apply?
Candidates seeking lateral entry into the B.Tech program must meet the following criteria:
- You must have passed a 3-year Diploma/Polytechnic from an AICTE-approved institution.
- You need at least 45% marks in your diploma (40% for reserved category candidates).
- The diploma must be in an appropriate branch of Engineering or Technology (i.e., relevant to the branch you want to take in B.Tech).
Those who meet this eligibility can apply for the B.Tech Lateral Entry Course.

Kalinga B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission Process
Step 1: Students must register on the university's official website by paying the online registration fee through the university's admission portal.
Step 2: After registration, upload the necessary documents to the admission portal. These documents will be verified by the university's admissions committee within 48 hours.
Step 3: After the Post document verification, the admissions office will either send a link to pay the course fee to the shortlisted candidates, and then students can directly pay it via the university’s payment gateway.
Step 4: After the successful fee payment, students will receive access to the Learning Management System and all details of academic resources to begin their engineering program.
