In both of the courses, students receive a ‘regular’ degree because even though they enrolled in 2nd year, most of the things are similar to regular 4-year courses. The eligibility criteria to enroll in B.Tech lateral entry at Manipal University Jaipur are mentioned below:

• A three-year diploma must be completed.
• If not a diploma then a student must have an equivalent degree i.e. B.Sc. PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with a minimum of 60% of qualifying marks.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech in flexible timings at other institutes is given below:

• A student must have a three year diploma or polytechnic from a recognized institute.
• If students does not have a diploma then they must have an equivalent degree such as B.Sc. in mathematics from a recognized institute.
• A student must have scored a minimum of 50% of qualifying marks.
• Some universities also require work experience of 2 to 3 years.
• Some universities also conduct entrance exam that a student must take and qualify before enrolling.

Course Fee: At Manipal University Jaipur, we are providing both regular B.Tech and B.Tech lateral entry and in B.Tech lateral entry students get enrolled in 2nd year so they have to pay the fee for 3 years only. The fee can be deposited in installments also. The total fee for B.Tech lateral entry is 5,62,000/- INR or 10,860/- USD.
