Is M.Tech Distance Education AICTE Approved?

As per the guidelines of the Supreme Court on the decision regarding distance education, distance B.Tech and M.Tech course is termed an invalid program. The Supreme Court has clearly passed an order saying that the M.Tech program in distance learning mode is not considered valid and cannot be allowed by any university or institute to include in its curriculum.

The main reason behind this decision is that the course structure of the M.Tech program mostly includes subjects that require practical study in the college like the regular mode course.

This is the reason why the Supreme Court came to this decision that the M.Tech program needs to be completed in regular classes. This clearly led the Supreme Court to declare the Distance between M.Tech and B.Tech as an invalid program in any university in India.

After this decision of the Supreme Court, both AICTE and UGC followed the order of the Supreme Court and declared the program of Btech and M.Tech distance education as invalid courses.

The Supreme Court also ordered that without any approval by AICTE, no university or institute can provide Btech & M.Tech courses that need practical attention. Therefore, College Vidya and its team are on a mission to spread awareness amongst the students so that they know about this decision of the Supreme Court and do not fall for any fraud offered to them. Remember, M.Tech from Distance Education is invalid and this degree does not hold any value in the right terms.
