B.Tech is a short form of Bachelor in Technology and a UG course in Engineering. This program admits students who have passed the examination of 10 + 2 from the science stream or with subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry. Some universities also require a minimum percentile of 50% for admission in the distance B.Tech.

BCA or Bachelor in Computer Applications is a program that teaches students about computer languages, database management, operations systems, etc. This is an undergraduate course and hence enrolls students on the basis of their 10 + 2 examination. Students need to pass the 10 + 2 examination with main subjects like English and Maths and also need to have at least 50% marks in the qualifying exams.
