Common Admission Test (CAT), the most prestigious and highly competitive MBA entrance examination in India, is carried out by one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). A large number of candidates appear for this exam every year to gain admission to the country's top Business Schools, including IIMs, FMS, MDI, SPJIMR, and others. After the exam, one of the most important processes candidates need to undergo is to check their performance through the CAT Answer Key and Response Sheet.
Within one week of the exam, the exam authority issues the provisional answer keys and response sheets to all candidates for the three exam slots- morning, afternoon, and evening. This blog will serve as a comprehensive guide to downloading, analyzing, and maximizing the use of the CAT Answer Key 2025 and Response Sheet.
The CAT Answer Key 2025 carries the officially accepted correct answers for all the questions that were asked in your exam slot. It keeps the evaluation process transparent and allows the candidates to contest any discrepancies.
The CAT Response Sheet is a list of all the answers you chose while taking the exam. It enables you to compare your answers against those provided by the authority and estimate your tentative score, thus helping you gauge your performance in different sections.
Before the final result is declared, these two specimens of the documents act as the perfect self-evaluation kit.
