Follow these proven strategies to prepare effectively for CMAT 2026:
Make sure you study the CMAT exam pattern and syllabus properly before planning your preparation. Allocate time to study based on the weightage and the number of questions from this section.
Carry out a study plan by week and by day. Pick topics weekly using study sessions and form a week-by-week revision list.
Mock tests help simulate exam conditions. Always review your mock test performance and drill down your weaknesses after each mock test, even practice being in an exam room.
Take at least 30-45 minutes weekly for this module. Most students tend to underestimate the section's impact on the overall CMAT.
Have at least 15-20 minutes on current affairs on your daily schedule. Again, using apps and monthly magazines will help get this done consistently.
Try and even practice some calculation tricks, reading faster, and shortcuts in Reasoning to save time, and thereby allow for better context and analysis; or compartmentalize or chunk to make the reading easier.
Keep short notes and a formula sheet together, reset them every weekend to help your memory lift.
