Common University Entrance Test which conduction body is the National Test Agency over India for admission into the Doctorates, Postgraduates, and undergraduate programs over the Central universities or more institutions. As per the UGC new guidelines, there have been some changes in the CUET 2025 Exam Pattern regarding Examination Mode, Number of Subjects, Number of Questions, Optional Subjects, and Domain Subjects (deletion also) as per the norms discussed on November 23, 2024.
Over the meeting of Nov 2024, the University of Grants Commission takes or contemplates the proposals of reviewing the scheduling of the CUET UG 2025 & CUET PG 2025. The committee analyzed numerous aspects of the CUET Examination and from that, the important aspects are as follows:

The committee states that improvement of the CUET Examination Process must offer a better, more effectual, and conducive habitat for apprentices taking CUET.
Revised CUET 2025 Exam Structure
The CUET 2025 Exam can be scheduled over the Computer-Based Test once a year. The test duration is 60 minutes for the exam. It is a must to attempt all the questions of the exam otherwise there has some negative marking scheme for them.
Revised CUET 2025 Exam Pattern
The UGC changed or updated the CUET 2025 examination norms are as follows below:
1. Mode of Examination and Subject Chosen Option:
Aspirants of the CUET Exam 2025 can choose the 5 subjects maximum now from 6 subjects and choose from any subject irrespective of the 12th class subjects. And, the exam is conducted in the Computer Based Test.
2. Duration & Marking Scheme of the CUET 2025 Exam:
For the CUET Exam 2025, there has been a particular time fixed that each subject should be completed in 60 minutes or 1 hour. Also, It is a must or compulsory to attempt all Questions and remember that there has been a negative marking scheme for incorrect answers.

The CUET Exam can be held in 13 languages, for check your test proficiency, the language-specific papers must be conducted while for other languages with foreign languages (20 languages or more) will be tested on the basis of the General Aptitude Test performance test.
