ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education hosts the IBSAT or ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, an exam open to all Indian students. The test is meant for students wishing to apply for MBA or PGPM courses at any of the nine ICFAI business schools in India. IBSAT 2025 Exam Dates & Schedule

The IBSAT 2025 exam is predicted to happen in the last days of December 2025, and the results to be made public in early January 2026. People generally register on July 1, 2025, and there is a deadline sometime in the third week of December.

• You will be able to register for the exam beginning July 1, 2025.
• From December 24, 2025, you may download your admit card online.
• You will take the exam on December 27 and 28, 2025.
• Students will get their results by the end of the first week of January 2026.
• You may download your scorecard beginning January 5, 2026.
• Briefings with candidates will be held in the second week of January.
• Beginning the third week of February 2026, there will be micro presentations and interviews for the selection process.
• From July 1, 2025, students can start applying for the PGPM and MBA program of 2026-28.

IBSAT Registration 2025

Applications for IBSAT 2025 can be made from July 1, 2025. Those applying should finish their registration by the deadline, which is set for the third week of December 2025. The exam is set to happen in the final week of December. Candidates now have plenty of time to get ready and apply for the position. IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025

• Normally, you must finish a bachelor’s degree in any subject and obtain at least 50% marks to apply for IBSAT 2025. Even if you finish your last year, you are eligible, but you need to finish off all your graduation tasks, such as exams and assignments, by the end of May 2025. 
• Next, you will get temporary admission, and to make it final, you must submit your final results and degree documents by November 1, 2025. If your bachelor’s degree was not taught in English, you need to take the TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS tests to show English competency. 
• To be part of the management program, anyone must complete at least 15 years of education, which usually consists of 10 years of school, at least 2 years of higher secondary, and 3 to 4 years of a bachelor’s degree. 
• With a valid score on the GMAT, CAT, or NMAT, you can go ahead and apply without having to sit the IBSAT. Starting in August 2025, eligibility checks will be done, so ensure that you fit all these conditions by this time. Make sure you are eligible before you apply to prevent last-minute difficulties.

IBSAT Exam Syllabus and Pattern 2025

Verbal skills, reading skills, math skills, and data analysis are the four main areas your skills will be tested in IBSAT 2025.

• The test is made up of 140 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), which are divided into these sections. You will be tested on 50 questions in Verbal Ability, and these questions deal with grammar, sentence structures, vocabulary, common phrases, better word substitutions, and sometimes also jumbled parts of a paragraph.
• There are 30 questions in the Reading Comprehension section, and they ask you to answer inferences and facts from the passages. The Quantitative Ability section covers 30 questions in arithmetic, number systems, algebra, and similar areas.
• These 30 questions are on analyzing Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation, in which you use given data, highlight important trends, and judge whether the collection of data is sufficient to provide answers.
• For the test, you have 2 hours (120 minutes), and as there is no negative marking, every question you work on can help you. You have to take the test remotely on your computer, and someone watches your progress to maintain fairness. Since the exam uses only English, being confident in your language will give you extra support.

IBSAT Admit Card 2025

IBSAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

• Log in Early: Make sure to log in to the exam portal at least an hour before your scheduled time. It helps avoid any last-minute technical issues.
• Check Your Device: Ensure your computer or laptop meets all the technical requirements. A well-prepared setup means a smooth exam experience.
• Be Ready for ID Verification: You’ll be asked to verify your identity, which may include a photo and checking your documents. Keep your IBSAT admit card and a valid ID proof close by.
• Follow Instructions Carefully: Listen to the invigilator and follow all instructions given before and during the exam. It’s important to stay attentive.
• Stay Focused on the Screen: Keep your eyes on your screen and avoid unnecessary movement. Looking around could raise concerns during the online proctoring.
• Answer in Any Order: There’s no sectional time limit, so you can move between sections and attempt questions in any order you prefer.
• 120-Minute Exam: The test duration is two hours. Manage your time well to attempt all sections.
• No Negative Marking: Feel free to attempt every question; there’s no penalty for wrong answers.
• No Calculators Allowed: You won’t be allowed to use a calculator, so be prepared to do basic calculations on your own.

IBSAT Result 2025

The IBSAT 2025 test will be conducted in the week leading up to December. Results are expected to come out in the first week of January 2026, which means there won’t be a long wait after the exam.To see your result, you must go to the official IBS website. IBSAT Cutoff
