IBSAT 2025 Exam Pattern
As per the pattern for IBSAT entrance exams, there are a few insights that one should consider while preparing for the IBSAT:
- The mode of the examination is a Home-Practice Test. You'll be taking the examination from your home without going anywhere.
- The total duration of the program is 120 mins (2 hours) without any breaks.
- You'll have to attempt 140 MCQ-type questions, each worth one mark. 140 MCQs = 140 marks
- The language of the entrance exam is English entirely; you can not switch between languages, are allowed will not be available at the time examination.
- Subjects that you need to cover for the IBSAT exam are Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation, and Reading Comprehension, which makes it of 4 sections.
- And the good news is that there is no negative marking in the examination, and each correct answer will give you 1 mark.
IBSAT Exam Pattern 2025: Section-wise Weightage
The IBSAT syllabus is separated into four categories. Verbal Ability is the subject with the most questions (50), which is composed of grammar, vocabulary, idioms, compound sentences, and jumbled paragraphs. Reading Comprehension consists of 30 questions measured using moderately difficult passages, for which the answers are directly proportional to the text. Quantitative Ability is all about arithmetic and basic mathematics, and practice assists in achieving better results. Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation incorporates questions based on data analysis, comparison, trends, and data adequacy in order to challenge your skills in their interpretation and evaluation.

IBSAT 2024 Exam Analysis
As per the previous years of IBSAT Exam analysis, it's expected that the IBSAT 2025 mode is difficult. So, students have to prepare for the exam hardly. The expected cut-off for ICFAI Hyderabad Campus is around the 60th-65th percentile, while the cut-offs for other ICFAI campuses are expected to remain the same as last year or change slightly. Test takers were able to attempt 32-34 questions from each section within half an hour. For students with sound preparation, solving 17-20 questions from each section accurately in the IBSAT 2025 exam was easy.
