The deadline for new applications and re-registration at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has been extended once again to March 31, 2023. The move comes after the institution had already extended the deadline from March 20, 2023, to March 27, 2023. As a result, students who missed the earlier deadlines now have another opportunity to apply for courses at IGNOU.

The extension applies to all programs, except for certificate and semester-based programs, and is available in both online and Open and Distant Learning (ODL) modalities. - On the homepage, click the "Register Online" option, choose the program you wish to apply to and press the "Submit" button.

- Submit a scanned copy of your photo and signature in the format given.
- Use the online payment option to pay the application cost.
- When the payment has been verified, submit the application form and print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
