IGNOU Offers Last Chance for Admissions: Apply by March 31, 2023

The deadline for new applications and re-registration at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has been extended once again to March 31, 2023. The move comes after the institution had already extended the deadline from March 20, 2023, to March 27, 2023. As a result, students who missed the earlier deadlines now have another opportunity to apply for courses at IGNOU.

The extension applies to all programs, except for certificate and semester-based programs, and is available in both online and Open and Distant Learning (ODL) modalities. IGNOU has claimed that the move was intended to help students who may have had challenges completing their applications because of the current epidemic.

Students who want to apply for the January 2023 cycle of IGNOU can do so by visiting the official website and completing the registration process before the deadline. The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs in various fields, such as arts, science, business, management, education, and law.

Admission process for IGNOU

The following are the processes for applying for IGNOU admission:

1. First, visit IGNOU's official website at www.ignou.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, click the "Register Online" option, choose the program you wish to apply to and press the "Submit" button.
3. Fill out the application form with all the essential elements, such as personal information, educational qualifications, and contact details.
4. Submit a scanned copy of your photo and signature in the format given.
5. Use the online payment option to pay the application cost.
6. When the payment has been verified, submit the application form and print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

It is critical that you verify that all of the information you have provided in the application form is valid and up to date. Any wrong info can result in your application being rejected.  After submitting the application form, you can check the progress of your application on the official website of IGNOU using your login credentials. 

IGNOU will also contact you regularly through email and SMS regarding the admission process, including the availability of admit cards, exam dates, and result declaration.
