There is good news for the students as IGNOU again extended the last date of registration up to August 14th. They recently updated this on their official website. Before this, the last date to apply was 30th July. The last date is extended for all Undergraduate (UG), Post-Graduate (PG), Certificate, and Diploma courses. Follow these simple steps to enroll in an IGNOU
To register on the IGNOU website, follow these steps:
- Go to the IGNOU website and find the applicant login area.
- Click on "NEW REGISTRATION" to start the process.
- Fill in your registration details, like your name and contact information.
- Choose a username that is 8 to 16 characters long.
- Create a password that is also 8 to 16 characters long and includes both letters and numbers.
- Click "SUBMIT" after entering all the required information.
- Your username will be sent to you via email and SMS. Make sure to remember both your username and password.
- If you've already registered, just click on "Log in" instead.
Required documents at the time of filling out the form
Be sure to include all required documents as follows:
- Include all your scanned documents.
- Include a scanned signature with a file size of less than 100 KB.
- Upload a scanned image with a file size less than 100 KB.
- If you belong to the SC/ST/OBC category, please enclose a scanned copy of your grade certificate (file size should be less than 200 KB).
- Upload a scan of your educational qualifications, making sure each file is less than 200 KB.
- If applicable, reduce the file size to less than 200 KB and include a scan of your experience certificate.
All about Registration fee, Cancellation of Admission, and Refund of Fee
Here is the refund policy:
- Registration Fee: This fee is non-refundable.
- Refund before confirmation: Payment will be refunded if canceled before confirmation.
- Cancellation after confirmation: Cancellation after confirmation will be charged 15% of the program fee, Rs. 2,000, will be deducted.
- Soft Copy Course Materials: For those who opt for soft copy materials, only the registration fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Student fee waivers: If you have a fee waiver and cancel, only the promotion fee will be refunded.
- No Refunds After 60 Days: No refunds are available after 60 days from the date of completion of admission.

Registration Fee
All students need to pay the registration fee which is Rs 300 and this fee is non-refundable. Moreover, you will pay this fee along with the first-semester program fee.
