Panjab University, Chandigarh, conducts this PULEET exam for lateral entry admissions into the second year (3rd semester) of B.E./B.Tech programs. Candidates who have completed a polytechnic diploma apply for the PULEET Exam. The exam is aimed by those applicants who want to complete their graduation in engineering. LEET means  Lateral Entry Entrance Test, which is an entrance exam for B.Tech lateral entry, mainly preferred by working professionals.

What is the PUEET Exam?

PULEET, which stands for Panjab University Lateral Engineering Entrance Test, is an entrance exam conducted by Panjab University. Direct admission to the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree program. It allows diploma holders to gain direct entry into the second year of various engineering and technology courses.

Eligibility 

Three-year regular Diploma in any branch. Engineering is awarded by any State Board of Diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi, equivalent CGPA.

 The registration fee for PULEET 2025 is Rs. 2710 for the general category and Rs. 1355 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. It's important to note that the fee is non-refundable once paid. The fee can be paid while filling out the online application form on the PULEET official website.

Candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering/Technology or a B.Sc. degree with a minimum percentage of marks mentioned below:

Three-year regular Diploma from the relevant branch. It is an Engineering award by any State Board of Technical Education / Diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi, with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Number of semesters in 3 years 

Six semesters in three years.

  • Correct answer - 4 marks
  • Wrong answer - 1 mark

General Aptitude and Reasoning

Logical reasoning and Analytical Skills questions.

  • Visit https://puleet.puchd.ac.in
  • Log in with the Account 
  • Put all details such as ID & passwords, and submit them 
  • Check your PULEET Admit Card and download it.

 PULEET Result, Seat Allotment and Counseling 2025 

 It will be released in the form of a merit list and will be available online on the official website. The merit list will be based on your marks in the entrance exam, and it's used to determine your eligibility for admission to B.Tech programs.
