Eligibility For IGNOU Distance M.Sc Courses

Admission Procedure Of Distance M.Sc In IGNOU
IGNOU admissions are made for Distance M.Sc in two cycles, January and July. The final date of the admission is extended to 14/April/2021 for the January 2021 cycle. In the month of August or September, the admission panel will be open for July 2021. The latest dates can be viewed on the Indira Gandhi National Open University’s official website.

- Students can go to the admission portal and fill up the online form by visiting the official website of IGNOU or visiting the nearby IGNOU regional approved centers for Admission.
- The prospectus must be purchased or can be downloaded through the website and the second form contained in the prospectus must be fulfilled.
- The following papers must be attached to students and sent to the IGNOU Regional Head. In the case of an online application, these forms must be uploaded to the admission portal.
- Once the application has been satisfactory with the requisite information, in a few weeks the students shall be confirmed by the IGNOU for admission, specifying their course specifics.
Documents that must be attached to the offline form and during online admission these documents need to be uploaded:
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate.
- Photocopy of 10, 10+2, and graduation mark sheet.
- Photocopy of Aadhar Card/Passport/PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Electricity or Phone Bill/ or any Bank account statement if none of the above is available to submit residential proof.
- Acknowledgment of undertaking for any GAP in education and any supplementary like backlogs. In case students are applying in their last semester then they are required to attach the result-awaited application approved by the college.
- Two colored passport-sized photographs.
