OverviewIIM Part Time MBA is another gesture of IIMs to benefit the Indian workforce with quality management education. These courses follow a different learning format which includes campus-based weekend classes. This alteration in the learning module has benefitted millions of masses and is continuing to do so with its flexibility.
The admission process of these special category IIM courses is similar to those followed for regular IIM MBA programs. Considering the need for technical training in executives, the period of these part time courses at some institutions has been set for more than that of a regular MBA course, i.e., 3 years. This longer duration sometimes makes professionals step back from taking up this course.
