Let's clear up some doubts
The PMI-ACP certification is a professional certification for Agile practitioners with project management expertise. It is provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and verifies an individual's knowledge and abilities in Agile methodology and procedures.
You must have a secondary degree (high school diploma, associate's degree, or equivalent) and 2,000 hours of general project management experience to qualify for the PMI-ACP certification. In addition, you must have 1,500 hours of Agile project experience and 21 contact hours of Agile training.
The PMI-ACP exam comprises 120 multiple-choice questions on a computer. The test will take three hours to complete. Agile approaches, principles, and practices are used to develop the questions.
PMI does not release the passing score for the PMI-ACP test. Instead, psychometric analysis is used to score the test, a statistical technique that calculates the passing score depending on the difficulty level of the questions.
For three years, the PMI-ACP certification is valid. Over three years, you must obtain 30 professional development units (PDUs) in Agile project management. In addition, attending Agile-related training and conferences can earn you PDUs. You can renew your certification after three years.
