Finally, the official notification for MBBS and BDS admission 2026-27 under special quota categories has been released by the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam. Those candidates who are eligible and seeking admission to government medical college in Assam MUST sumbit application by 11th August, 2026.

The notice, issued on August 5, 2026, invites applications from candidates belonging to specific reserved categories such as Freedom Fighters, Assam Movement Martyrs, Victims of Extremist Violence, Ex-Servicemen/Serving Defence Personnel, Sports, and Orphan quotas.
