DU SOL Opens Admissions for One-Year PG Programmes in ODL Mode for FYUP Graduates; Check Eligibility & Courses

DU SOL has finally started admissions for its newly introduced one year postgraduate programmes in ODL mode for the 2026-27 academic session. These programmes are available for all the students who have completed a Four Year Undergraduate Programme FYUP under the National Education Policy NEP 2020.

Eligible candidates can now go and register through the official University of Delhi PG admission portal. These new one year PG programmes will also run alongside the existing two year postgraduate courses which gives students an additional pathway to complete their master's degree. What are DU SOL One-Year PG Programmes?

The one year postgraduate programmes have been introduced specifically for all the FYUP graduates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. This initiative follows the NEP 2020 framework and gives eligible students a faster way to complete their postgraduate education through the Open and Distance Learning mode. So basically instead of spending two years on a PG degree, FYUP graduates can now complete it in just one year which is a really good option.

DU SOL is offering one-year master's programmes in:

• M.Com
• M.A. Political Science
• M.A. History
• M.A. Hindi
• M.A. Sanskrit

The university has clarified that these programmes are in addition to, and not a replacement for, the existing two-year postgraduate courses. 

Who Can Apply?

Candidates can apply if they:

• Have completed a Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP).
• Meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University of Delhi for the respective programme.

Admissions will be carried out according to the university's admission rules and eligibility requirements.
