Who Can Apply?

The program is designed for working professionals, and registrants are not required to visit the BITS campus. However, some programs provide Campus Immersion Modules, such as workshops or seminars, which are strongly recommended but not needed.

The M.Tech Design Engineering program is part of BITS Pilani's Work Integrated Learning Programme (WILP), which has been accredited by the UGC.

The M.Tech in Design Engineering program is intended for working professionals who must be currently employed while submitting their applications. Furthermore, experts with registered businesses are eligible to apply. The program guidelines include additional particular information about qualifying criteria, such as academic background and professional experience.

The contact courses are provided on a technology-enabled platform that may be accessed over the Internet from any computer. These sessions provide the same level of engagement as regular classrooms at the BITS Pilani campus. They are frequently scheduled on weekends or after business hours, averaging 7-8 hours a week. If you miss a lecture, taped sessions are accessible online for later reference.

To take a person-to-person examination, students must go to one of BITS Pilani's local exam centers. The university administers the test on weekends.

Live online lectures include Q&A sessions in which students can ask questions and receive responses via voice and chat.
