Chaudhary Charan Singh University is one of the nation’s top educational institutions. The land area of this university is 222 acres with a large playground and an experimental field. This university was founded in 1965, and after 8 years, the university started offering M.Phil and PhD programs in the nation. They worked on developing their curriculum for every course they are offering to the students. Additionally, they started offering online education as well, which is today's demand.

This university offers various facilities to its students. These facilities may include a well-equipped library, a gymnasium, hostels for both girls and boys, an administrative block, an indoor stadium, a guest house, a spacious auditorium, a medical centre, well-equipped laboratories, faculty and staff housing, a canteen, a botanical garden, a rose garden, a community centre, and various other facilities. The faculty members at CCSU are well-qualified, experienced, and highly skilled professionals. This university recently started offering online education. These faculty members are offering various programs to the students, including BBA HONS, MA (in Economics, Sociology, Political Science, and English), MBA (in Marketing, HR, and Finance), MCom, and MCA. 

CCSU is now offering a variety of courses, including undergraduate programs, postgraduate programs, undergraduate diplomas, and advanced diplomas, all under a self-financed scheme. Under a self-financed scheme, students can find it in the following areas: Journalism, physical education, humanities, mass communication, earth science, multimedia techniques, agricultural science, fine arts, applied science, legal studies, business science, business studies, geographical information systems (GIS), and remote sensing.

CCSU receives grants from various statutory bodies for research purposes, including DBT, UCG, ICAR, AICTE, DST, UPSTC, CSIR, and other funding agencies. The quality of education is quite good, as demonstrated by the results of various students, including those who have passed GATE, ARS, NET, and GRE. The scores of the university students are quite high in exams like the civil services, and they hold high-ranking positions in international and Indian educational and research institutions. 

They offer various programs in online learning and open & distance learning modes.
