Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Raipur, is a state government technical university formed under Act No. 25 of 2004, passed by the Chhattisgarh State Assembly, and emphasizes imparting professional skills to students by modern teaching methods including group discussions, workshops, project-based learning, and a variety of other learner centric methods and techniques. Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) strives to maintain quality of academic standards and eventually prepare graduates who are ready to take their rightful place in the industry, at a 250-acre campus located in Bhilai township. The B.Tech lateral entry is only available to students who want to advance their skills after a polytechnic diploma. B.Tech via Regular and Lateral entry, specializations are open to candidates with an interest in domains such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Artificial and Machine Learning.
