Yes, the online MBA in Operations Management at D. Y. Patil University is approved by UCG-DEB as a fully fledged online degree course and is also AICTE entitled which makes it a valid and credible degree within and outside of India as well. Additionally, it is equivalent in value as an offline regular MBA programme as per the UGC guidelines. 

The total fee for the entire course is INR 1,30,000 (for an Indian civilian student) and it can be paid off in the semester mode of payment.  

Although the university doesn’t offer any merit scholarships to students for its online MBA programme at the moment, students belonging to some categories like defence background, PwD category or DPU staff/alumni, are eligible for some concession of their course fees.  

Yes, there are existent placement support facilities for this online course at D. Y. Patil University. Students get professional training such as through interactive webinars with professionals and professional guidance from experts as well as placement opportunities through the virtual placement drives of the university. 

This course is delivered through the LMS of the university through which students can attend live online lectures, interactive discussion sessions and webinars with professionals in the field as well as refer to various recordings of the lectures later on. Virtual course materials are also made available to students through the LMS itself to promote self-paced learning in students. 

Students can apply either in the calendar year cycle of admission (January cycle) or the academic year cycle of admission (July cycle) for admission to this course. 

No, since the term-end examinations are conducted in the online proctored mode, students don't need to visit the university campus or any other examination centre for taking the test. Rather, they can take the exam from any location of their choice provided they have access to an electronic smart device and a stable internet connection.
