M.Com in Finance & Taxation is offered from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) in distance mode of learning which is structured and formed in collaboration with The Board of Studies(Institute of Chartered Accountants) and is offered exclusively for the final stage students of Chartered Accountancy. The program of distance M.Com.- Finance & Taxation IGNOU helps cater to students with skills in subject fields like Accountancy, Taxation & Finance. This course can be pursued simultaneously with a final course in Chartered Accountancy which is provided by ICAI. 

M.Com. in Finance & Taxation in Distance Mode from IGNOU comprises 13 courses in such a way that 5 of them are offered by IGNOU & the 8 courses comprised of the Chartered Accountancy Final Course. The moment a student clears 8 courses, they can get a credit transfer for those courses. This course is amazing as it offers a dual degree scheme when the student passes the finals of Chartered Accountancy, at the same moment they are also qualified to get a Distance M.Com. degree after completion of 5 additional courses by IGNOU.

M.Com. degree specialised in Finance and Taxation can be completed by successfully passing the 13 compulsory courses. The course is offered in two parts: Part A comprises Organisation Theory and Behaviour, Business Environment, International Business Finance, Research Methodology and Statistical analysis, and Marketing Management and Part B comprises Financial Reporting, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics, Direct Tax Laws, Advanced Management Accounting, and many more. The students are required to complete all courses of part A from IGNOU and the rest 8 courses of part B are delivered by ICAI this way the students can get the M.Com(F & T) along with Chartered Accountancy.

The students looking for admission in Distance M.Com. Finance and Taxation require some eligibility criteria like 3 years of graduation from a recognised university and must be in the final course of Chartered Accountancy.
