The Online M.Tech program is a two-year tech-based program provided by IIIT Dharwad. This program covers a domain in which the students need to study in-depth and navigate through the several bifurcations within the domain. This program empowers the student with the knowledge & skills required to immerse in the complex curriculum that is easily accessible which avoids unnecessary pursuits to find resources along with that, it has a flexible approach that avoids the need to be rigid on time with the flow of curriculum.

The program also prepares the students to develop research acumen by conducting research-based assignments and projects depending on the curriculum’s design that incorporates research. Due to this, a significant part of the Online M.Tech program acts as a precursor to Ph.D programs if the student aims to pursue a Ph.D after the completion of their master’s degree. 

Competencies that are related to advanced technology applications are cultivated within the student which gives them an advantage in the highly competitive job market. By equipping technical knowledge of the relevant specialization, the student is made proficient in the theories & concepts that are involved with a particular set of technology systems & applications that have been around in the current ecosystem where stakeholders of technology are involved.
