IIM Lucknow Online MBA

Online MBA is not provided at IIM Lucknow but there is another alternative that is equally considered a standard MBA program which is the Executive MBA. Also known as the Post Graduate Program in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE), this program is designed to consider the learning requirements of professional executives and entrepreneurs, who plan to be a management professional as well as a business leader who can use his/her current experience to upgrade to a managerial mindset that involves managerial thinking, managerial perspectives, and the best practices of decision making. 

This 2-year MBA program covers modules that are about the complex workings of each functional area of management that plays a role in shaping the student’s foundation in understanding each functional area’s role in business structures. In addition to that, through electives, the student gets to carve a niche for himself/herself to become an expert in one of the specializations. This program is also meant to accommodate job life and student life in balance in which the student can pursue an MBA without quitting his /her job.

The biggest takeaway one could gain from this program is the familiarization of the student with the methods to handle managing businesses with the right knowledge and skills. The program emphasizes the importance of acquiring leadership as a weapon for effective management in a globalized world of business. 

The program also conducts international immersion at one of the top business schools in Europe that is partnered with IIM Lucknow. Spanning around two weeks, the student gets to interact with international peers & faculty for an enhanced cross-cultural experience leading to the exchange of ideas & innovations. The student expands his horizon of knowledge by understanding the business challenges that affect markets globally. • The program fee covers computer & networking fees, library services, tuition fees, books, and instructional resources.
• The student has to pay the international immersion fee.
• When the student visits the campus, the boarding and lodging costs must be borne by the students based on the actuals.

IIM Lucknow doesn’t provide an Online MBA. However, the student can pursue the Executive MBA program provided by the institute. The eligibility criteria for the candidates to enroll in the  Executive MBA program are given below:

• The candidate must be a working executive.
• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline in the format of 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 formal education.
• The candidate must have a minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent CGPA.
• The candidate must have a valid score in the GMAT/GMAT Focus Edition/GRE or CAT or GATE or PGPWE entrance exam. (For the details of the validity of each of these exams, the candidate can refer to the official website of IIM Lucknow)
• The candidate must have a work experience of a minimum of 3 years or more, after graduation.

The institute offers various scholarships to the students for the successful collection of their degree programs to the students enrolled in postgraduation courses or doctoral courses. They also give stipends to the students that facilitate smooth course accomplishment. Students can also get a sponsor to pursue further courses. Many state government and center government offers meritorious scholarships to the students.

The Examinations are done in online mode for all the students enrolled in the online program. The Students have to log in to the portal with their user ID and password. The institute offers online self-paced study material. This material is suitable to study as it covers topics from basic to advanced. You can appear for the examination only if you have good internet connectivity along with a webcam and microphone. Practice mocks and other online sample papers for better practice and revision. 

IIM Lucknow doesn’t conduct an Online MBA program however they provide Executive MBA as an alternative. The students who join this program aspire to level up their skills & knowledge towards scaling greater heights for career growth and added responsibilities of management. The institute provides placement events where students get the opportunity to be recruited for their managerial prowess that is industry-ready. 

Companies such as HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Dolat Capital, PWC, Kearney, etc. have participated in this placement event. The highest CTC obtained by the student of the latest batch is around INR 1 Crore per annum domestically and 65 Lakhs per annum internationally. The average CTC obtained by the students of the latest batch is around INR 30 Lakhs per annum.
