IIM Lucknow Syllabus / Curriculum
In the first year of the doctoral program, the individuals are required to take a mandatory coursework irrespective of their area of specialization. At the end of their one year of coursework, the scholars have to undergo a summer placement/summer research assignment under the guidance of a theory Academic Advisor. The coursework is designed it provide teaching and research skills and to develop integrated learning.
In the second year of the program, the scholars acquire in-depth knowledge of their domain, where they have to choose a dissertation topic to work on, which will lead them to formulate their thesis proposal.
On the completion of the second year dissertation work, the scholars have to take the comprehensive examination. The examination is conducted to determine whether the scholar has obtained domain knowledge.

The individuals who have completed their master's degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 55%. Those who have a 4-year bachelor's degree with 65% are also eligible to apply.
IIM Lucknow offers Fellow Program in Management in various specializations- Agri-Business Management, Business Sustainability, Communication, Decision Sciences (OR/ Stats), Business Environment (Economics), Finance & Accounting, Human Resource Management, Information Technology & Systems, Marketing Management, Operations Management, and Strategic Management.
There is no program fee at IIM Lucknow.
Yes, IIM Lucknow provides a fellowship stipend of INR 35,000 per month for the first and second year. After qualifying the comprehensive exam, they will receive a stipend of INR 40,000 per month for the third and fourth years.
To take admission at IIM Lucknow, individuals have to qualify for entrance exams that also include the CAT examination.
