IIM Raipur offers a 2-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (ePGP). The course consists of 7 terms, of which there are 6 major terms and one mini-term. This programme’s mode of delivery is hybrid, in which classes are held live and online. In the offline aspect, a two-time campus immersion is held where the student is exposed to the features of the IIM Raipur campus.

The curriculum provides a solid foundation in a variety of management topics that enables the student to build capabilities fit for becoming competitive against the dynamically changing competition. This institute has been offering a mix of several general management theories, analytical methods, and soft skills with cases from real-world business scenarios. For the professional growth of the students, the program centers its overall aim on broadening their core leadership competencies. This course is designed to implement essential components of management practices that are effective such as managerial skills, respecting & understanding each other’s varying perspectives, communicating effectively, management of conflict, gathering individuals to come up with a common goal together, and practicing the art of negotiating. The specializations provided in this course are Marketing Management, Economics & Public Policy, Humanities & Liberal Arts, Operations & Quantitative Methods, HRM & OB, Information Systems, Finance & Accounting, and Strategic Management.

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• Should have a minimum of 50%* marks in graduation
• Should have three years of work experience after graduation.

IIM Raipur is a prestigious Indian business school that provides full-time postgraduate management programs and one year Executive Post Graduate Program. Accordingly, the institute may have particular EMI alternatives that students can use, subject to relevant restrictions and limitations.

For its Executive MBA course, IIM Raipur has an academic performance evaluation system in place in which a continuous evaluation process is followed. The evaluations of the student throughout the course are done based on quizzes, class participation, project work, assignments, term papers, mid-term components (that could consist of quizzes, assignments, mid-term tests, term papers, etc.), and end-term examinations. In quizzes, a class is tested with questions to determine the essential elements of knowledge gained while studying the subject.

Then there is class participation, where a student’s involvement in the class is observed in terms of how much the student pays attention, answers questions, expresses opinions, asks doubts, etc. Then there is project work where the student gets to apply the concepts, theories, and learnings leading to something fresh and informative. Assignments test the student’s understanding of a topic and give their own opinions through their findings or conclusions.  Then there are term papers which are research papers that test the student’s ability to research and find discoveries that make the term paper unique.

There are mid-term evaluations which could be in any form ranging from quizzes to mid-term tests to assignments, that are held in the mid-term period. End-term examinations are the means to test the student’s complete knowledge of the subject which also acts as a means to express knowledge and subjective understanding. The end-term examinations are held in online mode through a secure and automated platform. Along with that, it is remotely proctored. Students who want to write in offline mode have to reach out to the examination committee or the ePGP team. 

IIM Raipur does not provide placement services to the students of the Executive MBA programme but they will get career support from Right Management, India. However, an Executive MBA’s value is as good as the likes of a regular MBA. Hence the opportunities for Executive MBA students are high and they can advance themselves in their careers. The highest CTC that can be achieved is around INR 42-44 LPA. The average CTC that could be achieved is around INR 20-22 LPA.
