- Criteria 1: Candidates must have BCA/B.Sc (computer science) B.Sc. , B.Tech (CS/IT) degrees from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Criteria 2 : Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with mathematics/statistics/business maths/quantitative techniques/ computer application/information technology as one of the subjects in graduation or in 10+2 level with the subjects mentioned.
- Criteria 3: The students who have not studied maths as their subject in their bachelor's degree or in 10+2 must have a bridge course in mathematics along with another semester 1 paper.
