Online and distance BA is a 3-year graduate program consisting of 4 semesters. 12th pass-out students can enroll for this online course. BA can be done in many specializations but students can pursue one at a time. These specializations are Accounting, Business Principles, Business Management, Human Resources, Economics, Finance, Business Statistics, Marketing, and many more languages and subjects. An online BA focuses on the student's overall growth, professionally, personally, and mentally.
In 1987, Kuvempu University was established and was named after a great Kannada writer, Kuvempu, Jnanpith laureate & doyen of Kannada literature. This university offers a wide range of courses in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Management, and Science. To offer such a wide range of subjects, the university was recognized by the governmental statutory body, the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Kuvempu University offers Distance BA courses to students who can not study by coming to the University campus so they can take classes online or visit on the weekends. The university has specially designed the fee structure of every course in such a way that it becomes affordable and budget-friendly for every student and working professional, but the university does not offer any such loans or EMI facility to financially assist students. KUVEMPU Online BA Admission Process
Students who are willing to get admission to the online courses offered at Kuvempu University are required to follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: To get enrolled at Kuvempu University students must check the eligibility criteria of their selected course and if they are eligible, they can start the admission process by visiting the official website of the university.
Step 2: Students must visit the official website of the university and register themselves at the university to get their login credentials.
Step 3: Students must log on to the official website of the university and click on the online application tab.
Step 4: After clicking on the application tab, students must fill out the application form with the required information accurately.
Step 5: While filling out the application form, students have to attach the required documents along with the application form, and applying students must be aware that every piece of information must be accurate and correct to avoid any rejection from the university end.
Step 6: After attaching all the required documents and filling out the application form, the student has to pay the fee for their selected course.
Step 7: After the fee, students can submit the application form and must take out a print copy of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

KUVEMPU Online BA Examination Pattern
The examination pattern followed by Kuvempu University’s online program is the most commonly followed pattern, which includes two major components: internal assessment and end-term examinations.
The internal assessment evaluates the learning of a student through the digital medium and it evaluates the student's self-learning through the assignment they are assigned at the beginning of the semester, whereas the end-term examinations are conducted to evaluate a student's overall theoretical understanding of the program in which they are enrolled. The internal assessment carries a marks weightage of around 20-30% whereas end-term examinations carry 70-80% of the total weightage.
