MERI CET B.Tech Lateral Entry

For students, it is mandatory to meet the eligibility criteria if they want to apply for the MERI CET for the B.Tech Lateral Entry program. So the program in this campus can be registered by the following applicants who meet the conditions mentioned below: 

• Applicants who have completed a diploma in engineering/technology from a recognized university or educational institute can enroll for the B.Tech Lateral Entry program. 
• Not just diploma holders but also B.Sc. graduates can also register for the B.Tech Lateral Entry program. Moreover, they have studied Mathematics in their graduation program. 
• Only those candidates are eligible for a seat in the B.Tech Lateral Entry who have scored at least 60% marks. 
• No prior work experience is required to enroll for the program. 

There are universities helping students to make it viable through EMI options. But MERI CET doesn’t offer the EMI facilities to learners. But there are other options available to learners, such as scholarships and approaching a bank for an education loan. If opting for the scholarship, the campus conducts the Scholarship Entrance Test (SET) at the time of enrollment. To continue the scholarship after the first year of the program, candidates have to meet certain criteria, such as attendance, minimum marks, and no backlog.

Mainly, India’s higher education system follows a semester-based evaluation system, so is followed by the MERI CET college. To evaluate learners, semesters are conducted twice an academic year. But this is not the only parameter to access the performance of learners.
