Admission to MGIMT is based on the norms set by AKTU and AICTE. The institute follows a transparent process for both B.Tech first-year and B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions. Based on the entrance exam score, applicants are offered a seat in MG Institute of Management and Technology.

Step 1 : Apply for the entrance exam, like JEE and UPCET.

MGIMT still uses a semester-based examination system that is prevalent in most universities. Consequently, semester exams are held twice each academic year. Apart from this, students undergo performance-based in-class assessments such as assignments, class tests, quizzes, and mini-projects. In the final year, a major project is undertaken by the students to reflect their hands-on knowledge.
