The online B.Com program that NMIMS offers is for 3 years (6 semesters). This undergraduate degree course is offered in the Online mode in Commerce and related Finance courses. With this course, the students will be able to learn the essentials of commerce by creating a strong foundation.

Who Can Apply?
The student must fulfil any one of the following three criteria:
- HSC (10+2) in any discipline with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade score from a recognized school board.
- HSC (10+2) in any discipline with at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade score and 2+ years of work experience.
- SSC(10) followed by 3 years of Diploma with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade score recognized by AICTE.

To assist students in paying their course fees in convenient EMI payments, NMIMS Online gives financial support to the student. The course fee can be paid at one's convenience thanks to the 3, 6, 9, and 12-month EMI plans that are offered by the university.
NMIMS Online B.Com Admission Process
Admissions to any course in NMIMS Online are conducted entirely online. Every year, new admissions usually start in January. Since admissions are made directly, there is no need to take an entrance exam to enroll in a university course. The following step describes the NMIMS Online course admissions process for the session 2025:
Step 1: Visit the NMIMS Online official website and complete the registration form. Secondly, pay the admission processing fee.
Step 2: Students must give their authorized enrolment partner their academic and professional credentials, as well as a photo ID.
Step 3: After the counselor has verified all the documentation, the students must pay the program fee online or through a Demand Draft.
Step 4: Your admission will be confirmed and you will be given a "student number" after all of your documents have been examined and the fee payment has been completed.

NMIMS Online B.Com Examination Pattern
The evaluation pattern of the NMIMS Online consists of assignments, term-end exams, and project reports. All the assignments and projects are uploaded and submitted on the student portal of the university. And, the online term-end exams are conducted periodically at the end of the semester through online proctored methodologies. The online proctored method ensures fair examination practices. The online exams consist of multiple-choice questions and descriptive-type questions.

The duration for the online B.Com program at NMIMS is 3 years with a total of 6 equal semesters.
Yes, you can absolutely pursue a B.Com degree in the online mode. However, you must pursue it from a college/university that has been approved and recognized by UGC-DEB to offer online degree courses.
The total course fee for an online B.Com program at NMIMS University is INR 1,08,000 if payment is done semester-wise (₹18,000/- per semester). The total fee is ₹99,000 when paid year-wise (₹33,000/- per year). The total fee is ₹94,000 in case of one-time payment.
The eligibility criteria for admission in online B.Com at NMIMS is that the applicant must have passed HSC (10+2) with at least 50% marks in any discipline or at least 45% marks and 2+ years of work experience. The students with SSC (10) and 3 years of Diploma with at least 55% marks are also eligible.
All the online degree programs offered at NMIMS are recognised and entitled by the UGC-DEB and hence are completely valid. The university has also been granted the Autonomy Category I status by UGC and Grade A+ by NAAC. With all these required recognitions and approvals, the B.Com and all the other online courses from NMIMS become completely valid.
