NMIMS Online Executive MBA

The Executive MBA offered by NMIMS in the online mode is also known as MBA for Working Executives. This program aims at giving students a broader view of business administration. The goal is for learners to learn to recognise unstructured and complex problems and then be able to implement innovative solutions. The NMIMS executive online MBA is offered through a blended ODL mode.

The online Executive MBA program at NMIMS comes in 5 specialisations- Marketing, Digital Marketing, Leadership & Strategy, Applied Finance, and Operations & Supply Chain. You also get the option of dual specialisation from these 5 specialisations. The course will cover all aspects of business administration with a special focus on the selected specialisation. 

Learners will be able to get an end-to-end view of the enterprise and cross-functional skills. The course curriculum is designed such that the learners are able to first think, then design, and then finally implement strategies that help create value along with a competitive edge with the help of different functional domains.  

The applicant must fulfil one of the following two criteria:

• An undergraduate degree (10+2+3) in any discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognised university 

OR

• An equivalent degree or ecuational qualification from university recognized by the Assosciation of Inidan Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• A minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience is required. 
• Students from SC, ST, OBC, or PwD categories have elaxation in minimum marks category i.e. 50%. 

For assisting students in paying their course fees in convenient EMI payments, NMIMS Online gives financial support to the student. The course fee can be paid at one's convenience thanks to the 3, 6, 9, and 12-month EMI plans that are offered by the university. 

The curriculum is divided across 8 terms. There are 5 elective courses which the students can choose to specialise starting from the third term. There is option for dual specilisation as well. The course distribution across terms is as follows: 

• Foundation Module- HBPE 
• Term I/II- 4 Core Courses in each term 
• Term III- 2 Core Courses + 2 Elective Courses 
• Term IV/V- 5 Elective Courses in each term 
• Term VI- Capstone Project 
• Term VII/VIII- Industry Experience or Specialisation Based Project 

The evaluation pattern of the NMIMS Online consists of assignments, term-end exams, and project reports. All the assignments and projects are uploaded and submitted on the student portal of the university. And, the online term-end exams are conducted periodically at the end of the semester through online proctored methodologies. The online proctored method ensures fair examination practices. The online exams consist of multiple-choice questions and descriptive-type questions.
