About B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

What is B.Tech Electrical Engineering? B.Tech represents Bachelor of Technology, it’s an undergraduate degree course that is generally of four years. Electrical Engineering is a branch of this B.Tech degree. At Shri Venkateshwara University, we deliver this course specially for working professionals.

Here, we provide this Bachelor of Technology degree in various branches and give students the opportunity to choose any branch of B.Tech as per their interest. Electrical engineering is one of them. EE or electrical engineering branch consists of the core knowledge of electrical systems, automobiles, communication systems, circuit devices, or anything that includes electricity. The subjects included in this branch are digital electronics, electrical machines, high voltage direct current transmission systems, signals and systems, power electronics, wind and solar energy systems, etc. After enrolling in B.Tech EE, you can also pick any one specialization such as control systems engineering, electrical machines & drives, power systems, systems engineering, power electronics, etc.

The work of electrical engineers is mainly about designing, developing, and making electrical systems of aircraft, electric motors, electrical systems of automobiles, navigation systems, power generation equipment, radar, communication systems, etc. Electrical Engineering is emerging day by day and these engineers have created many things such as radar, smartphones, electric motors, navigation systems, communication systems, etc. Because of electrical engineers our everyday lives have become easy.

It is one of the very popular branches of B.Tech EE engineers who are very much required for jobs. The degree that we are providing is tailored for working professionals. Working professionals are those people who are employed and are interested in pursuing a degree without withdrawing from their jobs. This B.tech course is delivered in flexible shifts so that working professionals can create a balance between pursuing a degree and employment. This degree course is specially tailored for people who are interested in switching to a better job or getting a promotion. With the help of flexible timing, working professionals get the chance or opportunity to pursue an academic degree while doing their jobs at the same time. This helps students to create a balance between their education and other personal or professional commitments.

The time span of this course is 3 to 3 years or 6 to 7 semesters of six months each. In this course, students are directly enrolled in the 2nd year of this degree because they have already gained all the information that is taught during the first year while pursuing their diploma or polytechnic.

This Electrical Engineering B.Tech course is a combination of online and offline modes of education. This course is almost identical to the traditional mode of education. This degree program course is almost identical to the traditional mode of conducting education. This degree program gives advanced-level knowledge about engineering and technology in electrical engineering. In this course, the classes are conducted during weekends, in the evenings on weekdays, or during public holidays.

The classes are conducted via live lectures but recorded lectures are also provided to students through which they can implement their practical knowledge. In this course, there are multiple methods to deliver information that is practical and core subjects, projects, and elective courses. Because in this course classes are not conducted in regular mode, therefore few activities are conducted to keep students engaged, such as assignments, quizzes, tests, projects, etc. This also helps in calculating students’ performance.
